Tim Ellis

With over 10 years direct marketing with marketing research & analysis experience, Tim has managed projects for a wide range of very demanding customers often globally recognised brands. While every customer is treated with equal importance, he has been ‘hands-on manager’ of projects frequently spanning multiple countries in a wide range of industries. Key customers have included AMD, Autodesk, Cisco, BMW, Ferrari, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, as well as dozens of estate agents.

As head of JuniorSenior Direct, Tim believes that while it may be easy enough to get the message out there… the real skill these days comes in being able to pick up the signals and responses that can sometimes get lost in the background noise. And in always making it easy for two-way communications in ways that inspires the target audience to want to get back to you. He sees an essential link in the delivery medium and the quality and inspiring qualities of the content. For that reason he is delighted see the perfect ‘fit’ of JuniorSenior Direct within the wider creative family that is JuniorSenior.

Having managed companies of his own for more than 15 years, he recognises the all-important requirement to see a direct, measurable return on business investments. A happy mix of rebel and conformist, he recognises there’s a time and place for efficient systems, as well as one when real value can be found challenging assumptions, behaviour and mind-sets in order to ‘change the world one campaign at a time’. He is a firm advocate in spending longer exploring the real root of the problem or opportunity rather than attacking what might seem the more obvious “solution” - an approach certainly influenced by his recent MBA where he specialised in Creativity, Innovation & Change; Knowledge Management; and of course Marketing.

 

Ab Kuijer


Ab is one of the founders of JuniorSenior and has over 25 years experience in the communications industry. Ab started as a journalist for newspapers and magazines, became a radiohost and switched to tv and movie productions. His main questions always are ‘What, Why, When and How can we communicate this?’

Ab has developed campaigns, materials and strategies for a wide variety of clients and projects, and has a strong background in developing B2C and B2B communication using creativity, technical innovation and free publicity as important tools in the strategy. Relevant experience: winner of Dutch DM Awards, Opening EuroDisneyland Paris, Launching BNN Television and radio, promotional campaigns for National Entertainment Industry Association, Ubisoft, Unilever, Pepsico International, Johnson and Johnson and many more.
